More Uniform and Flag Tryouts

First up, a flag for Santa Sofia. I'm pretty happy with this. The eagle should appear practically solid black.

Second, a flag for Ballyfoole. I'm not sure about this one. Might tweak it some more.

And finally, I tried reversing the red and green for the uniform of the Fuselli Fusiliers of Santa Sofia. I think prefer the other version with the red coat. Maybe if the Santa Sofians get another foot unit I might give them the green coat version (thinking a light/jaeger-type unit, the ____ Cacciatores).

I really like the San Gelato flag . . . but I'm not at all sure that I like both the flag and oval backgrounds of the Ballyfoole flags being the same color.

I do like the fact that the green of Ballyfoole and the green on the San Gelato flags are different shades.

Nevertheless, both flags are quite striking in appearance. Good work.

I do like the Ballyfoole White Griffin on Green oval . . . but not the green field for the white saltire.

So I copied it and just changed the background color to see what it looked like. I happened to use a golden yellow (#FFCC11) and I really liked the look then.

I suggest that you might want to consider playing around with some different colors to see if you liked them better.

On the other hand, it is YOUR flag and you are welcome to use whatever colors you like -- I don't have to like it (it isn't one of my countries).

I really do like both flags. I'll concur with Jeff, but rather than say I don't like the green field, I'll say a different color might be even better. I think the green field still looks alright.

I also really like the bottom uniform. I think it'd be interesting to have even if you don't use it for the fusiliers.

Thanks for the input! See my next post for refinements. I played around a bit with other colors and didn't really care for any other combinations for Ballyfoole.
