Vexed Vexillology

Played around with flags some more. Although I keep trying to work a saltire into my flags I'm leaning towards the second version here with the quatrefoils in the corners. Any thoughts?

Oh yes, I like the second far more as well.

Save the saltire for another League member.

I like the second, too, but you're going to drive the heraldric purists wild with green on green on green. :> Colors on metals, metals on colors.

For the first model flag, I like the white ring better than the green ring, personally.

Some heralds considered vert (green) to be a metal . . . because in some places weathered copper was used to get that green color on shields.

This was primarily used in some Continental heraldry (especially in Italy, if I recall correctly).

So don't let "purists" get you down.
