I like the second, too, but you're going to drive the heraldric purists wild with green on green on green. :> Colors on metals, metals on colors.For the first model flag, I like the white ring better than the green ring, personally.
Some heralds considered vert (green) to be a metal . . . because in some places weathered copper was used to get that green color on shields.This was primarily used in some Continental heraldry (especially in Italy, if I recall correctly).So don't let "purists" get you down.-- Jeff
