Ed, I found some rough black & white drawings of some heraldry shields on-line somewhere (but neglected to write the site down or bookmark it and now I can't find it again!) I've also gotten some images from A Dictionary of Heraldry, Edited by Stephen Friar (this is where I found the unicorn). Basically I download (or scan in) an image, vectorize it in Corel Draw or Illustrator, add some bits such as the ovals, and then color it in.

All are very nice flags. I like them very much. Good work!

Echoing Jeff, very nicely done. I really like them.
What are you using to make your flags? Where are you getting the various elements?
Thanks,
