These look good . . . why am I not surprised?

Great to see you blogging again!
A very pleasant and original idea as the basis of this (beautiful) vignette.
I suppose the uniformed armed men are part of some official (military? paramilitary?) outfit? Would they be fielded in case of war -if the situation is desperate enough?
Compliments,
Jean-Louis
We still have much to discover in the League: but shall we begin to learn also about Batrachia?
Such a high quality has to be very slow - you can always use David's templates to share your ideas with us.
Best regads,

Thanks for the comments :-)
A lot of these vignettes and characters come to me while painting the minis so it's hard to make things up in advance using the excellent templates.
The guys with guns could be smugglers or could be agents of the crown. I guess they are some sort of merchant seamen who could come into play in coastal or naval actions. I don't have any plans to paint up a whole unit of them (nor the minis to do so), but there will definitely be more to come regarding Batrachia, the occasional nemesis of the League.

Promising!
