sc - That might be an idea. I'll have to see how he looks next to the rest of the lads. He has the first musket I made, which is very bulky, more like an elephant musket (might almost qualify as light artillery!)! lol

A sergeant with an 'amusette'? Sounds slightly WH40K, but then...

Hello Fitz,

YEAH that's the ticket! Wow! A regiment of those fellas might send the opposition to the rear without a fight. (But then what fun would that be, since we are wargamers? HA HA) Excellent paint job as well. I wish my efforts were half as good. So...when will the whole bunch have their photo posted?

Thanks. I think the plaid actually looks better in the photo than in person! lol
As for the rest, I have 3 more ready to paint and several more that need arming (i.e. more sculpting to add hair, bonnets, arms, etc.). It'll take a while to get them all done and posted (I have done less then I wanted to this week due to "real life" - mostly just busy at work).

Yes that 'ole blunderbuss is exactly the sort of weapon a rough and tumble sergeant might want to tote about, just for the extra 'weight' for close encounters with cavalry...

Your sculpt looks just fine painted up!

Interesting, Rafa! (the umbrella idea was lifted from "A Bridge Too Far" where one of the Brits carried around a "brolly")

Allan - Their motto/battlecry is (stolen from Terry Pratchett's Wee Free Men, in keeping with the spirit of the wee free men!):
"They can tak ooer lives but they cannae tak ooer troosers!" :-)
