Introducing the Cuirassiers Royale of the Batrachian Army. This unit is sponsored by the king's devoted and wise uncle, Jean-Louis, but lead by a younger more active colonel. Coats are red, turnbacks, trousers, etc. are buff. The bugler's coat is buff with red turnbacks. The cuirasses are bronzed.
A rear view of the bugler, to give you a better idea of the coloring.

Wow!
I envy the patience and skill required.
These Cuirassiers are the pride of their inhaber - even any 'honorary' one!
Excellent looking troops . . . and I really like the flagbearer idea.

Nice cuirassiers ! Love the camel, specially imported to provide dependable pack animals ?

I really like your buff painting, looks very nice, could you let us know what colors you used as I am getting ready to paint a bunch of french belting?
Thanks, guys!
For the buff I used Foundry's "buff leather" color. For those not familiar with their paints, the paints come in 3 shades for any given color, a dark, medium and light.
Those cuirassiers are a wonder to behold! With their bronze cuirasses they evoke something of the Ancient world.
