Rhinos and Remounts

More acquisitions for the Soweiter League's National Zoological Garden, mother and baby white rhinos.
Remounted cavalry on the new bases. Still more in progress.

I like the idea of using washers as bases, cheap & easy buy. And of course, they'll stick to magnetic bases, which makes movement a whole lot easier.
I'm looking for an easy way to base my own (new) 15mm scale colonial figures - both mounted & foot - but haven't yet decided on an option.
FB, are there washers under all the mounted figures in the photograph? If there are, then they must be very thin washers 'cos I certainly can't see any gaps underneath.

Steve,
Not under the rhinos. But under all of the cavalry and all of my infantry. The cavalry sit on top of 2 washers laid end to end, with thin black plasticard to hold them together and trimmed as described in a previous post, then the join between the mini base and the washer base is covered with greenstuff. That and flocking pretty much hides the washers. The order is basically (no pun intended) mini, washers, plasticard, so there's no gap showing.
