Thanks, gentlemen. I just can't seem to get the finer lines or something; whatever it is that makes plaids look good on so many other people's miniatures. Well, from a couple of feet away.
Jeff, I will probably use Gaslight, or at least the simpler parts from the compendium. I like that I can use small numbers of figures, still have major characters, and keep it all pretty simple, too. I do have TSATF, haven't tried the small unit variation. But if Gaslight serves me well I will probably stick with it.
