Here's an "old school" inspired bridge I made from mdf board. The middle "legs" are cut a little shorter so the bridge rests flat on the table.
Experimenting with making cobblestone roads, just for a different look from plain dirt roads. The cobbles are drawn on with ink, and painted in various shades of gray.

The scale I use is 28mm. I used 1/8 inch thick mdf for the roads (and bases for much of my other terrain). And 1/4 inch thick for the bridge sides. It's more work to cut, but I wanted the extra thickness for the sides of the bridge.
Glad to return the favor a little, Stokes! I get a lot of inspiration from sites like yours! I love the old school buildings and terrain.
I made river sections in the past with built up banks and flocking and all, but I'm starting to consider making new ones similar to my roads, just painted on flat boards. :D
Excellent scenery for a boardgame! It's always good to see this sort of stuff, as it usually inspires me on into trying similar things myself!
