The Duchy of Grand Thidwick, Sir Argyle Fitz-Basset , Prime Minister, representing Her Grace Catherine Zeta Figg-Netwon Capital: Mutton-on-Wrye Principal exports: wool, woolen goods Units: ?
Thanks! You might think there was some Welsh influence in Grand Thidwick (what with the red dragon - "y draig goch"). The duchy was founded by a free company of Englishmen along with Welsh bowmen, led by the first duke, Sir Roger Thidwick. And still to this day immigrants from Blighty supplement the native population.
You've heard of virgin wool, haven't ewe (I mean, haven't YOU) - lol
Not necessarily, Martin - I steal (I mean, I find inspiration) from all over - so there is the Dr. Seuss reference, an allusion to Grand Fenwick, places names inspired by the works of P.G.Wodehouse, etc.

Now that's a flag to fight for!
Is the dragon traditionally fed virgins, or sheep? Virgin ewes, maybe?
Exports: smoked mutton?
Yup, Capt. Bill, I agree. A very good flag.

Hi Fitz,
So since there is a Grand Thidwick...doesn't that imply a Lesser Thidwick?
Yours,
Martin
P.S. Love that Dr. Seuss influence!
